Who may apply?
This program is designed for independent homeschool evaluators serving Florida families. Applications are reviewed individually before access is approved.
What can families use for free?
Compass Free has no expiration, requires no card, and includes the core planner, attendance, reading and goal trackers, work samples, reports, portfolio downloads, 500 MB of private storage, and five Ask Compass questions each month.
How do I earn a directory profile?
After you are approved and one verified new family creates a free Compass account through your link, you become eligible for a complimentary profile in the upcoming Homeschool Evaluator Directory. No family purchase is required. Paloma will contact you for permission, credentials, service areas, and the public information you want included before anything is published.
Will I see the families I refer?
No. Your dashboard shows aggregate link visits, referrals, paying families, and Partner Earnings. It does not show family names, children, records, uploads, portfolios, or billing details.
How does my referral link work?
Your unique link records your referral when a family creates its free Compass account. The family never has to buy anything. If it later chooses the $60 annual Compass Plus membership, the qualifying first-year payment can create Partner Earnings for you.
How are Partner Earnings calculated?
You receive 30% of the eligible amount collected during the family’s first paid year. A qualifying $60 annual membership creates $18 in Partner Earnings. Later renewals do not create additional earnings.
When are earnings paid?
Earnings remain pending for at least 30 days to allow for refunds or disputes. Approved balances are paid on the monthly schedule after the $25 minimum and required tax information are complete.
What happens if a family cancels or receives a refund?
Their cancellation does not expose any records to the evaluator. Refunded, disputed, complimentary, duplicate, or fraudulent memberships do not qualify and may reverse related earnings.
How should I describe the relationship?
Share your honest experience and disclose that you may receive Partner Earnings. Do not promise an evaluation result or describe Compass as required or government-approved.
